Delete your account
You can delete your The Carp Seekers account and all your data at any time, in the app or by email.
1. In the app (immediately)
- Sign in at thecarpseekers.com or in the Android app.
- Open My profile → Delete account.
- Enter your password, type the confirmation word and choose “Delete account permanently”.
2. Without the app (by email)
Email [email protected] from the address linked to your account with the subject “Delete account”. We delete the account and data within 30 days and confirm by email.
3. What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in, profile, profile photo and contact details.
- Catches, sessions, photos and albums, venue notes, gear and costs.
- Posts, comments, likes, classified ads, messages and friendships.
- Device and notification data (push tokens).
Data is removed from the app immediately and from backups once they are overwritten (we keep a limited number of recent backups). Only a technical marker with the account ID remains (no email or name), which stops the account being reused.
